About TexasToxics | |
The Texas Legislature has established the Texas Toxic Substances Coordinating Committee (TSCC) as an state interagency committee that facilitates the exchange of information about toxic chemicals and biologicals between state scientists and staff. These toxic substances can include, but are not limited to, pharmaceuticals, personal care products, petrochemicals, pesticides, industrial chemicals, viruses, bacteria, fungi, protozoans, parasites, insect pests, algae, metals, inorganics, organics, and other similar chemicals and biologicals that pose a human and environmental threat. This listserv is one of the mechanisms for information exchange between members of the TSCC, its subcommittees, or designated staff. It is for information exchange only and does not necessarily endorse any product, issue, or regulatory solution in any way, shape or form, plus does not serve any official notification function between agencies or to the public. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the TexasToxics Archives. (The current archive is only available to the list members.) |
